We may add more to this page in time, for now we just have downloadable PDFs of our own research papers: the most current International Snow Science Workshop 2008 paper on the AK Block test, the Current AK Block sizing table, the ISSW 2006 and 2004 preliminary AK Block papers, and a paper our student intern Kent Scheler wrote for the Western Snow Conference.

The ISSW 2006 AK block paper was updated to correct several minor errors in the version published in the proceedings.

We are seeking people to help with studies to refine the AK Block sizing table for ISSWs 2009 and 2010. If you and a helper can contribute at least one three-block test set, contact us. The more individual testers and snow conditions we can incorporate into the data set, the more accurate the final table will be.
