DESCRIPTION: A large
natural avalanche descended off Buckley Mountain, which is a west
facigng slope between Springville and Provo. It descended about
5,000 vertical feet onto the Bonneville Shoreline Trail burying
it in deep avalanche debris you can see in the bottm of the photo.
The avalanche occurred on February 29, 2004. In the previous several
days there had been a couple feet of new snow with strong winds.
