DESCRIPTION: A small glide avalanche released on the steep rock slabs in the upper left of the photo and descended to the lower right of the photo. This is in Mill B South on a north facing slope around 9,600 feet in elevation. The glide avalanche was 3-4 feet deep, 50 feet wide and descended about 300 vertical feet. It probably occurred 3-23-04 at the end of a series of extremely hot days. You can also see other glide avalanches on the opposite ridge in the background.
