section of the Forest Service National Avalanche Center website!

- Current Projects This section provides a summary
of our current technology transfer projects. It is being updated
during the summer of 2005.
- Past Projects This section summarizes some of
the projects we are no longer actively working on. It's also
being updated during the summer of 2005.
- Graduate Student Programs This is a list with
information about the various avalanche research programs in
North America, and provides contact information for prospective
graduate students.
- Technical Papers This part of the site has four
sections. The first section lists articles, theses and dissertations
that are associated with the National Avalanche Center, and
provides links to abstracts and articles (where available).
The second section contains an electronic copy of Snow, Weather,
and Avalanches: Operational Guidelines for Avalanche Programs
in the United States. The third section is a partial list
of all the recent technical publications on snow and avalanches,
while the fourth section gives links to other sites that list
technical papers.
- Conferences Here we will provide a list of upcoming
conferences on snow and avalanches.
This Tech Transfer section of the NAC website was developed and
