There is a MODERATE danger of wind slab avalanches at upper elevations in the Logan area backcountry. Watch for recently deposited wind slabs in exposed terrain, mainly along the highest ridges and in terrain features like gullies or scoops. 

There is a MODERATE danger of human triggered avalanches on any slope approaching 35 degrees or steeper with recent deposits of wind drifted snow.  These will look smooth and rounded with a hollow sound and will often crack or collapse under your weight.  Out of the wind, watch for pockets of loose snow sluffing on steep slopes.

While the avalanche danger is generally LOW, slabs formed along the leeward side of upper elevation ridges are sensitive to the additional weight of a person today. These will be isolated to terrain above treeline with an easterly componant to the aspect.

Avalanche advisories will begin around the first of December.
