HyperNews Membership

With this form, you can either inquire about an existing member, join as a new member, or change your own member information. Membership on this HyperNews server (www.avalanche.org) gives you certain privileges, listed below. (Each HyperNews server/installation has its own membership and associated privileges. This HyperNews server/installation is administered by staff.)

Anyone may join new members. Members may change their own info.
Only administrators may reset passwords of members.
Only administrators may create new base articles. The owner of a base article is the administrator for it.
Anyone may read messages.
Anyone may add subscriptions for notification. Once a member is subscribed, only that member may unsubscribe.
Anyone may add messages.
Only members may delete their own messages.
Only members may move or copy their own messages.

To join as a new member, first enter the User ID below. Then fill in the following fields. You should have a Password, Name, Email Address. Then select Join or Change and click on Do It. Use this same form to later change your current membership information. To do that, you only need to enter the values that are changed, but you will need to enter your current password at the end.

To inquire about an existing member, enter the member's User ID here and then go to the bottom of the form and click on Do It.
