Summary: 2 snowmobilers caught, 1 buried and killed
On Saturday, March 5 a snow machiner was killed in a slide on a west
facing aspect of Prater Peak. Two members of a three person group were
caught in the slide. One member was partially burried and dug out by the
witness. After approximately 90 minutes the other person was found
burried 2-3 down with the help of other snow machiners using tree limbs
to probe the area. CPR efforts were administered on the victim.
