1 snowmobiler buried and killed on 12/26 on the west side of the Snowy

Range in south-central WY. The avalanche occurred on a 40-45 degree slope on a NW aspect. The

victim did not carry avalanche rescue gear. More info when it becomes available. This is the

4th US fatality of the season.
