As a professional member of the American Association of Avalanche Professionals, or the Canadian Avalanche Association, you are invited to subscribe to Westwide Avalanche Network Data Exchange. Your subscription will enable you to access online information products and services that you will find useful. Besides the vast Westwide weather and avalanche database, you will have access to snowpack data from over 600 SNOTEL stations located in the mountains of the Western U.S. and Alaska. You will also be able to share ideas and information with other professionals in a secure news group we call, "The Electronic Patrol Shack". Additional products and services are planned to help you keep up with what is happening in the snow world around the globe.

A years subscription to the Westwide Avalanche Network Data Exchange (DataX) costs only $30. (US).

If your organization is a permitted explosives user and active in avalanche forecasting and control, please consider subscribing to Westwide Avalanche Network Industry Information Exchange. This service is intended for ski areas, highway departments, heli-ski operations, and avalanche forecasting operations that need to share information regarding explosives, military weapons, avalanchers, accidents, and other important news. Shared information is protected by two levels of security. Products and services are intended to provide the front-line professionals with tools and timely information that can help them do their jobs more safely.
