RURRF WORK
Ski Patrol / Avalanche Search and Rescue Dog Teams

One of the many things we hope to accomplish in RURRF WORK is to facilitate cross talk and enhance idea exchange between professional dog handlers. We all know that training alone is less than ideal.

We would like to create an, "AVALANCHE DOG TEAM DIRECTORY". The final product will hopefully contain information on: Areas that have dog programs; the longevity of the program; the number of dogs and handlers; area policies; and other information that would be of interest to everyone; and of course a listing of dog handlers.

This will entail a survey / questionnaire. To get things started, we would like to hear from those interested in being included in this directory and just a little information, including a program coordinator or contact person. A more detailed survey will be emailed to that person. All information will be shared with all who participate. We would also strongly suggest that you join the AAAP as a professional member, so your program can participate in the Electronic Patrol Shack, a password secured HyperNews server, where more sensitive and real time issues can be discussed.

If interested please respond via the form below:

· Ski Area or Organization

· Program Coordinator
· Title
· Mailing Address
· City State Zip

· eMail
