Human triggered avalanche

The bottom line here is wind transported snow is prone to avalanching even during a mostly low avalanche danger. During periods with a LOW avalanche danger we are more prone to get into more exposed terrain where we are more likely to find instabilities. Also during periods of LOW danger we tend to let our guard down even though we are traveling in more radical terrain. It's important to follow all backcountry protocols even during periods of LOW danger.
