2-27-06  Gog and Castle Rock

I noticed this small snowmobiler-triggered avalanche on the east side of Gog in White Pine Canyon. The avalanche probably occurred on 2-26-06

Two days of strong northwest winds built up wind-drifts in fetch areas or in and around terrain features like gullies sub-ridges and rock outcroppings.

I noticed a few other small natural wind slab avalanches like this one on Castle Rock
