Wet Avalanches from 2-28-06

Heavy rain fell on 2-28-06 after a couple days with warm temperatures and above freezing nights.  This wet point-release avalanche closed Hwy 89 in Logan Canyon for a while.

Here's a larger natural wet slide just down-canyon.

The steep slide-paths just below Temple Fork also ran and piled-up deeply in the Logan River.

This wet point-release is on a southwest facing slope at about 7200' in elevation.
