A 32-yr-old mother of three riding a snowboard triggered this wet avalanche consisting of warmed fresh snow and was then caught, carried into trees and injured...

The very steep slope (45+ degrees) on the northwest shore of Tony Grove Lake @ ~8200'  faces northeast... The avalanche occurred just before 1:00 on the afternoon of Saturday, 4-26-08.   The snowboarder was evacuated to hospital in Ogden by medical helicopter.
