AVALANCHE EDUCATION

  The Utah Avalanche Center-Logan is committed to providing avalanche safety education to the community.  We offer free avalanche awareness talks throughout the winter, specially designed for particular backcountry user groups (snowmobilers, non-motorized, and mixed users).  We are happy to set up a specially tailored free talk for your group.  Please try to contact us early in the season (Fall) to set one up.   Set up a talk

  The Friends of the UAC-Logan offers 2-day Avalanche Basics classes through the Utah State University Outdoor Recreation Center. USU ORC  We would also be happy to set up a class for your group. It gets pretty busy in the winter, so contact us well in advance.  Set up a class
