Close call near Catherines Pass.

My partner and I had a close call today. I was just reaching for his poles to steady him as he was going to kick a cornice when it broke just behind his feet. He fell backward onto the fracturing slab and started down the chute. The fracture was up to 3' deep and about 30 to 40' wide.
